About Payment

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment via Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express), Bank Transfer & PayPal (PayPal payments are subject to 2% handling fee).

Can I pay on delivery?

No. We are currently unable to offer this as our couriers are unable to provide this service.

Can I order by phone or email?

Yes. We are more than happy to take orders directly over the phone or by email.

What happens if I want to change my purchase?

Once the order has been placed you have 24 hours to change or cancel your order.

Can I return a painting?

Yes, if you're unhappy with the painting, you can return it to us. We will refund the price in full minus the shipping once the painting has been received.

How do I return a painting?

To return a painting contact us via our email at info@avenueart.co.uk to let us know. Returned products must be wrapped & packed in the original packaging and sent to the address of origin. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the product is returned, this is also at the customer's expense. We reserve the right to refuse the refund or deduct a charge if the item is returned in a damaged and unsalable condition.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns of paintings that have been altered in any way by the customer. Paintings ordered with any custom changes (i.e. custom sizes, custom colors, adding or deleting parts to the oil painting) can only be returned for a store credit. Please note that for international customers, customs charges and import/excise taxes are not refundable.

About Shipping/Delivery

I live outside of the EU, do you deliver to me?

Yes, we deliver internationally.

How long will I have to wait to receive my order?

Between two-three weeks. Since painting with oil on canvas is a complicated, time-consuming process, our artists will spend between 10-20 business days creating your masterpiece. If your painting is much larger, or if it is extremely complex, the artist will need a longer period of time to fulfill your order. We will notify you if your painting is going to take longer than expected. Once your painting is finished we'll ship it to you immediately. Once my painting is ready how long will it take to be delivered?

We use a range of courier partners who are responsible for our deliveries. Delivery takes place within 1-2 working days for UK deliveries once the painting is completed and 2-5 days for deliveries within the European Union.

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free delivery to all EU destinations. For all other destinations there will be a small shipping fee added.

About the Painting

Do you sell paintings or prints?

We only sell 100% handmade oil paintings, hand painted by experienced artists. We use no printing, pressing or technological aids to create our paintings.

What is the quality of your paintings like?

We take great pride in our products which are all of the highest quality. We also take great care in packaging our products to ensure that they are not damaged during transit.

Do the items sold on your website come with any guarantee or warranty?

Yes all of our items come with a years free warranty and we offer a 7 day money back guarantee (excluding shipping) once you receive your item.

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Damage arising from abnormal use, or abuse;
  • Products which have not been maintained, or which have been modified;
  • Any indirect or consequential loss.
